The Electrochemistry and Corrosion Science Centre is a multidisciplinary research group where students are encouraged to apply their academic knowledge in a variety of scientific fields, including chemistry, engineering, physics, and more.
The group has close connections with a variety of industry partners at the local, national, and international levels. Through hands-on experience, students are able to cultivate professional connections, improve their knowledge sharing skills, and learn new perspectives and expertise in their field of study.
The lab feels like home for many who have studied with ECS Western. Students are motivated to develop their interpersonal and leadership skills by collaborating with like-minded individuals and mentors who are interested in seeing each other succeed.
