Baian is currently completing her MSc. under the supervision of Dr. Noël, and her research focuses on the capture of metal ions from contaminated water using ion-exchange polymers and electrochemistry. Western University showcased Baian’s research as part of the Inspiring Minds initiative, and she was also a recipient of the IAEA Marie Sklodowska-Curie fellowship in 2021
